Simon Beeston Bio:

While living and working in China, Simon was so disturbed by the lack of quality music in clubs that he started playing it himself. After moving back to New Zealand he discovered his friends had also developed a passion for house and techno music and got together to promote a series of parties and club nights with a focus on quality music and DJ's unwilling to compromise their musical tastes.
Simon first came to Berlin in 2004 to play gigs in various clubs, including a set at the original Tresor. He returned to play New Years Eve 2005, and made the move to Berlin permanently in 2006. The unique party culture and the vast array of musical expression in the city are a huge inspiration to any artist and Simon Beeston is no exception. You can often find him dancing near the front of the club until the last record spins!
Simon has been producing music for seven years and continues to push his sound in new directions. Influenced by house, techno and minimal, it would be difficult to put his music into any one category, but his tracks always have both feet on the dance floor , an irresistible groove and a unique array of samples and sounds. As a DJ Simon plays a bionic, club moving mix of tech house, techno, and house, full of subtle musical hooks and crunchy percussion. His innate ability to program a set from peak time to rolling grooves never fails to keep dancers on the floor.
After a busy year in 2008 with successful releases on District of Corruption, Highgrade Digital and Bond Records, Simon is now set for a bright future as a permanent member of the Highgrade Records artist roster.

He bought his first Roland drum machine and a cheap synthesizer and soon was transferring midi data between the 2 devices. In the late nineties, he was introduced to computer music and nowadays he combines software and hardware equipment for his production and live performances.
In 2002, Ekkohaus moved in London where he studied music technology (LCMM) and worked in a famous art gallery for 4 years. There, he settled in the East part of London, and mixed with a variety of cultures, individuals, music directions and fresh sounds… In 2008 he decided to move to Berlin and focus in the thing he loves most....music....
He has recently started his own night there, "strictly no dancing", a night that focuses in the art of listening and experiencing music. …. Ekkohaus has been spinning records since 2002 (resident at hobo and babalu, in Greece) and playing live since 2006..... His live sets are a mix of house grooves, dubby bass, quirky vocal samples and minimal structures.... His djing is very diversed also, like a glimpse of the future through a journey in the past....a sort of...time travelling experience....
The last few years Ekkohaus has been releasing his music in various labels (Morris Audio, Cargo Edition, Safari electronique, 2020 Vision, Multi vitamins, Level, Brut and more....).
Although Ekkohaus is not a religious person, he is said to be member of a secret cult that claims to be in search of the magic loop, an ecstatic situation created by the monotonous repetition of a specific frequency or rhythmic sequence, whisper , rain etc.
Bryzant Radio Show mit Christian Fischer und Bruno Morphet!
Christian Fischer präsentiert heute das Set von Bruno Morphet "Live @ Distillery Lepizig".Weiterhin gibt es ein Interview mit Bruno Morphet. - Seid gespannt!
Bruno Morphet:
